As your resident hydraulic systems expert, the Embedded Specialist is an invaluable resource that you will draw upon daily. His skill base will augment your staff’s knowledge as he assumes the role of advocate for pump systems plant-wide and provides ongoing hydraulic engineering and consultation.

Pump Reliability Specialist

Your Embedded Specialist is equipped with the tools and training to provide ongoing assessment and proactively drive savings throughout your plant. Multiple data sources will be mined to identify opportunities and recommend improvements. A proprietary software program will extract data from multiple sources, including your CMMS, and the Embedded Specialist will analyze them, identify gaps, and report findings. He will follow ITT procedures to identify and drive improvements, including the following:

• Root cause failure analysis and elimination
• Establish synergies between operations and maintenance
• Institutionalize best practices
• Measure and communicate key performance indicators

Team Leader

Here, your Embedded Specialist serves as a single point of contact to draw upon the extended team of off-site ITT subject matter experts. He will identify and manage opportunities to connect your plant’s needs with these resources. This
team of resources can include some or all of the following:

• Energy performance services
• Machine health monitoring
• Learning and development/training
• Remanufacturing and repair
• Inventory and supply chain management
• Engineering and design solutions
